As a professional horsewoman, competitor ,coach and producer based at Chilver House Stables in Norfolk I have been around horses all my life successfully backing my first pony at the age of 12. Currently I am enjoying competing my home produced youngsters in affiliated showjumping , taking part in local hunter trials and eventing as well as hunting with the West Norfolk Fox Hounds and the North Norfolk Harriers
I enjoy starting and schooling young or "green " horses as well as working with horses that have " training issues " and working with owners to help resolve problems. I have many years experience of producing happy and confident family horses and ponies of all breeds and sizes ,as well as competition horses, including showjumpers , eventers and Riding/ Pony Club all-rounders at every level. As a coach ,I offer a friendly, quiet and confident approach to every horse and rider , building each session around each combinations specific needs , whether at novice level ,or those preparing for competition, always helping to build confidence and self esteem . I like to use my effective but sympathetic teaching skills and experience to find straightforward, uncomplicated solutions, whilst also making each training session fun and a positive experience for my clients . Although based in Norfolk I am happy to travel to surrounding counties to offer clinics for groups or individuals.
